Challenge Conference 2020
Elevate Student Ministries plan to attend Challenge Conference 2020 this coming summer. Challenge 2020 is Westfield EV Free’s larger denomination’s (Evangelical Free Church of America) national youth gathering.
Challenge 2020’s theme is “Restless: Longing and Belonging.” Augustine famously said, “Our heart is restless until it finds its rest in You.“ Students all over our wrestling with a sense of being overwhelmed. Challenge 2020 will focus on how Jesus gives us rest in an increasingly fractured, pressurized, and anxiety–field world. Not only that, but the rest He gives propels us to point others to the good news of the gospel.
Challenge will be open to students currently in grades 8-12. Our group will be traveling to Kansas City from July 13-18. Will stay in hotels near the convention center where Challenge 2020 is held. Additionally, students will have opportunities to serve in the city along side trusted ministry partners such as churches, non-profits and charities.
